You need help when:
-You’ve done all you can and the result is not forthcoming
-You don’t know what to do
-When an enemy comes against you who has an advantage over you
When help is needed, it points to The ministry of the Holy Spirit
The two ways the Spirit of God has relationship with us
The first is silent, that is the new birth, at this point He comes in to live in you
John4:14, John7:36-39
The second is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, He comes in His fullness upon you
Acts2:1-4,
The common denominator in the book of John is water
In John chapter 4 we have a well, and in chapter 7 we have a river
A well might serve a household, it is stationary
A river reaches further, cuts across boundaries
New birth He comes in to live in us
The second, He comes in to flow out of us
The way we tap into the ministry of the Holy Spirit is by praying in other tongues
John14:16-18
Jesus was the Comforter that was present, He has given us another just like Himself.
(He dwelleth with you was referring to Himself
He shall be in you refers to the Holy Spirit
Comfortless means orphans
Means you have where to run to, you are not without help)
John16:7-15
-He will guide you into all truth
-He will take the things Christ has done for you and cause you to inherit it, building it into you
The things He has done are the things of the Father.
The preciousness of what Christ has done is the preciousness of the Holy Spirit
What He has done, you must have it, and if you must have it, You must have the Holy Spirit
-He will show you things to come
The devil doesn’t go ahead of us, we go ahead of Him

The flood comes from the rivers
The Holy Spirit lifts up a standard like a flood

Speaking in other tongues produces rest and refreshing
